After not applying to a film festival for a while I randomly applied to my local Harlem Film Festival. It’s a great festival, often with really cool work, and also with some of my favorite women on its board (including MIRA NAIR and SUSAN S<\/span><\/p>\n

ARANDON). It also happens to be in my hood. Anyway I just found out my thesis film “C’est Moi” got in and will be showing Fri Sept. Sept. 21 at 2pm at the Maysles Cinema – 343 Lenox Ave (btwn 127th and 128th st). I would LOVE for people to come see this film I worked so hard on.<\/p>\n

Also you would get see my fabulous cast including the lovely GRACE REX (who you might recognize from her role on THE GOOD WIFE) and the adorable JAKE LACY (who just happens to be the newest cast member on THE OFFICE). Clearly they’re awesome, as the rest of the cast and crew was.\u00a0<\/p>\n
